ANGOLA 2023

While Angola’s capital Luanda is the most expensive city on the African Continent, this wealth does not extend to the rest of the country. The economic profit stays mostly with foreign investors, creating an unimaginable gap between rich and poor. The opportunities for the people of Angola are limited. Although there is hardly any touristic infrastructure, I had the chance to travel through Angola individually for a few weeks in 2023 and was overwhelmed by the hospitality of the people and the beauty of the landscape, from rainforests to deserts.
